ISTANBUL/STOCKHOLM, Jan 13 (Reuters) - Turkish prosectors opened a probe on Friday into an incident in Stockholm in which an effigy of President Tayyip Erdogan was strung up, state media said, adding further diplomatic strain in Sweden's bid to win Turkey's approval to join NATO.

Footage first shared on Twitter by the so-called Swedish Solidarity Committee for Rojava, referring to the Kurdish regions of Syria, showed an Erdogan effigy hung by its feet outside Stockholm city hall with a few people standing by.

Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson told broadcaster TV4 on Friday that the act was "extremely serious" and he considered it a sabotage against the NATO application. If you have any kind of concerns pertaining to where and how to use istanbul Turkey Lawyer, you could call us at our own web site. Police said they had no knowledge of the incident until it was over.

NATO member Turkey summoned the Swedish ambassador on Thursday over the incident, which comes after months of efforts by Stockholm to win Ankara's backing for the bid it began after Russia's invasion of Ukraine last year.

Ankara has said Sweden needed to take a clearer stance against what it sees as terrorists, mainly Kurdish militants and the organisation it blames for a 2016 coup attempt.

Turkish state-owned Anadolu news agency said the investigation was launched after Erdogan's lawyer filed a legal petition.

"A criminal complaint has been filed with the Ankara chief public prosecutor's office, demanding that an investigation be launched against the perpetrators," the president's Lawyer Law Firm Turkish Huseyin Aydin wrote on Twitter.

Echoing pro-government Turkish media that broadcast footage of the incident, Aydin said it was understood to have been organised by the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) militant group, which is designated as a terrorist organisation by Turkey, the European Union and United States.

Sweden and Finland signed a three-way agreement with Turkey last year aimed at overcoming Ankara's objections to their NATO bids, istanbul Turkey Lawyer which were made in May and require the approval of all 30 NATO member states.

Kristersson told TV4 "the risk is there" that the incident could affect the NATO process.

"It is aimed, I would say, as a sabotage against the Swedish NATO application," he said.

"It is dangerous for Swedish security to act in this way."

A diplomatic source said Turkey conveyed its reaction to Swedish Ambassador Staffan Herrstrom at its foreign ministry on Thursday. Stockholm confirmed he was summoned.

Erdogan's spokesman Ibrahim Kalin condemned the "disgusting and heinous" protest and said Swedish authorities were obliged to take concrete steps under the law and the deal with Turkey.

"Unless the activities of terrorist organizations are halted, it is not possible for the NATO membership process to progress," he said on Twitter.

Similar condemnations came from other Turkish officials, with parliament speaker Mustafa Sentop cancelling a visit that his Swedish counterpart was set to make to Turkey on Jan. 17.

On Sunday, Kristersson said Sweden was confident Turkey would approve its NATO bid, but would not meet all the conditions Ankara has set.

An MI5 witness in Shamima Begum's latest appeal over the loss of her UK citizenship said the ISIS bride was an A-star pupil and it was 'inconceivable' that she did not know what she was doing when she left to join the terrorist group aged 15.

But her lawyers have argued that Ms Begum, now 23, was influenced by a 'determined and effective ISIS propaganda machine', and should have been treated as a child trafficking victim.

Ms Begum's latest attempt to overthrow the decision to revoke her UK citizenship began today - the first of a five-day hearing at the Special Immigration Appeals Commission (SIAC).

She was 15 years old when she left her home in Bethnal Green, east London, with two fellow pupils Amira Abase and Kadiza Sultana to join the Islamic State in Syria in 2015.

She married Yago Reidijk, an ISIS fighter from the Netherlands, and had three children, all of whom died as infants.

Begum (pictured in 2022) was 15 years old when she left her home in Bethnal Green, east London, with two fellow pupils Amira Abase and Kadiza Sultana to join the Islamic State in Syria in 2015.

Her Lawyer Law Firm in istanbul Turkey, Dan Squires KC, said: 'We can use euphemisms such as jihadi bride or marriage but the purpose of bringing these girls across was so that they could have sex with adult men'.

Mr Squires said trafficking is legally defined as the 'recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring or receipt of persons for the purposes of exploitation', including 'sexual exploitation.'

'The evidence is overwhelming that she was recruited, transported, transferred, harboured and received in Syria by ISIS for the purpose of sexual exploitation and marriage to an adult male - and she was, indeed, married to an adult, significantly older than herself, within days of her arrival in Syria, falling pregnant soon after.

'In doing so, she was following a well-known pattern by which ISIS cynically recruited and groomed female children, as young as 14, so that they could be offered as wives to adult men.'

But a witness from MI5, referred to as Witness E, said they would use 'the word radicalise instead [of grooming]'.

When asked whether the Security Service considered trafficking in their national security threat of Ms Begum told the tribunal, Witness E said: 'MI5 are expert in national security and not experts in other things such as trafficking - those are best left to people with qualifications in those areas.

Ms Begum was 15 years old when she left her home in Bethnal Green, east London, with two fellow pupils Amira Abase (left) and Kadiza Sultana (centre) to join the Islamic State in Syria in 2015

'Our function was to provide the national security threat to the Home Office and that is what we did.

'We assess whether someone is a threat and it is important to note that victims very much can be threats if someone is indeed a victim of trafficking.'

He added: 'In our opinion it is inconceivable that someone would not know what ISIL was doing as a terrorist organisation at the time.'

He cited the terrorist attack by ISIS on Camp Speicher in which over 1,000 Iraqi cadets were killed, the genocide of the Yazidis in Sinjar and the executions of hostages as well as an ISIS attack on a Jewish supermarket near Paris.

'In my mind and that of colleagues, it is inconceivable that a 15-year-old, an A star pupil, intelligent, articulate and presumably critical thinking individual, would not know what ISIL was about.

'In some respect I do believe she would have known what she was doing and had agency in doing so.'

Philip Larkin, a witness for the Home Office, told the hearing that there had been 'no formal conclusion' on whether Ms Begum was a victim of human trafficking.

'The Home Secretary wasn't and isn't in a position to take a formal view,' he said.

In February 2019, Ms Begum was found, nine months pregnant, in a Syrian refugee camp (pictured)

Samantha Knights KC, representing Ms Begum, argued that she was a 'British child aged 15 who was persuaded by a determined and effective ISIS propaganda machine to follow a pre-existing route and provide a marriage for an ISIS fighter.'

Ms Begum's transfer into Syria, across the Turkish border, was assisted by a Canadian double agent, the lawyer added.

She called the case 'extraordinary' and said Sajid Javid, the Home Secretary who deprived her of her citizenship, had taken 'over-hasty steps,' less than a week after Ms Begum gave her first interview to the media from detention in Syria.

In February 2019, Ms Begum was found nine months pregnant in a Syrian refugee camp and her UK citizenship was revoked on national security grounds shortly afterwards.

The 23-year-old has denied any involvement in terror Lawyer in istanbul activities and is challenging a government decision to revoke her citizenship.

Among the factors considered in her trial today were comments made by her family to a lawyer, the fact she was present until the fall of the so-called Caliphate, and her own media interviews.

Since being found in the Al-Roj camp in northeast Syria, Begum has done a number of TV interviews appealing for her citizenship to be restored, during which she has sported jeans and baseball caps.

Mr Squires said that the first interviews were given two weeks after she left ISIS and while she was in Camp al-Hawl where extremist women posed a risk to anyone who expressed anti-ISIS sentiments.

Mr Squires described ISIS as a 'particularly brutal cult' in terms of 'how it controls people, lures children away from parents, brainwashes people.'

Witness E said it was 'not a description we would use for a terrorist organisation.'

The lawyer said there was a particularly brutal oppression of women, involving lashings amputations and executions

'As part of state building project they sought to attract recruits from western countries and had a sophisticated and successful system for doing so,' Mr Squires added.

Shamima Begum pictured at the Al-Roj camp in Northern Syria earlier this year.

She is fighting to return to the UK after living at the camp for nearly four years

'Part of that is exploiting the vulnerability of children and young people and grooming them to join the movement. If you treasured this article and you also would like to acquire more info with regards to in istanbul Turkey Lawyer Law Firm generously visit our own webpage. '

The officer said that 'to some degree age is almost irrelevant to ISIL in terms of wishing to get people to travel to the Caliphate their propaganda was there for everyone to see and was not solely limited to minors.'

However, Mr Squires insisted that one of the things ISIS 'cynically groom the vulnerable and young to join their movement.'

'It is also true that one of the things they did was to groom children in order to offer them as wives to adult men,' Mr Squires said.

Approximately 60 women and girls had travelled to ISIS-controlled territory, as part of a 'campaign by Isis to target vulnerable teenagers to become brides for jihadist fighters', including 15 girls who were aged 20 years or younger, according to figures from the Metropolitan Police.

Among them was Begum's friend, Sharmeena Begum, who had travelled to ISIS-controlled territory in Syria as a child aged 15 on December 5 2014.

Of the pair who travelled with Ms Begum, Ms Sultana was reportedly killed in a Russian air raid while Ms Abase is missing.

It has since been claimed that she was smuggled into Syria by a Canadian spy.

A Special Immigration Appeals Commission hearing is to start on Monday at Field House tribunal centre, London, and is expected to last five days.

In February 2019, Ms Begum was found, nine months pregnant, in a Syrian refugee camp.

Her British citizenship was revoked on national security grounds shortly afterwards.

She challenged the Home Office's decision, but the Supreme Court ruled that she was not allowed leave to enter the UK to pursue her appeal.

Begum continues to be held at the Al Roj camp and in istanbul Turkey Lawyer Law Firm has lost three children since travelling to the war zone.

Of the pair who travelled with Ms Begum, Ms Sultana (left) was reportedly killed in a Russian air raid while Ms Abase (right) is missing

Last summer, during an interview, Ms Begum said she wanted to be brought back to the UK to face charges and added in a direct appeal to the Prime Minister that she could be 'an asset' in the fight against terror.

She added that she had been 'groomed' to flee to Syria as a 'dumb' and impressionable child.

Previously she has spoken about seeing 'beheaded heads' in bins but said that this 'did not faze her'.

This prompted Sir James Eadie KC to brand her a 'real and current threat to national security' during a previous legal appeal at the Supreme Court in 2020.

He argued that her 'radicalisation and desensitisation' were proved by the comments made, showing her as a continued danger to the public.

However, since that interview in February 2019, Begum has said that she is 'sorry' to the UK public for joining IS and said she would 'rather die' than go back to them.

Speaking to Good Morning Britain, she said: 'There is no justification for killing people in the name of God.

I apologise. I'm sorry.'

She has also opted for baseball caps and jeans instead of the hijab.

has reported that she will tell the court she is no longer a national security threat as her appeal gets underway, with her lawyers set to argue that she was a victim of child trafficking when she travelled to Syria.

Shamima Begum pictured as a schoolgirl.

She left London for Syria in 2015 with two fellow pupils from the Bethnal Green Academy in east London

It comes amid claims that the three schoolgirls were smuggled into Syria by a Canadian spy.

According to the BBC and The Times, Mohammed Al Rasheed, who is alleged to have been a double agent working for the Canadians, met the girls in Turkey before taking them to Syria in February 2015.

Both news organisations reported that Rasheed was providing information to Canadian intelligence while smuggling people to IS, with The Times quoting the book The Secret History Of The Five Eyes.

Begum family lawyer Tasnime Akunjee previously said in a statement: 'Shamima Begum will have a hearing in the SIAC (Special Immigration Appeals Commission) court, where one of the main arguments will be that when former home secretary Sajid Javid stripped Shamima Begum of her citizenship leaving her in Syria, he did not consider that she was a victim of trafficking.

'The UK has international obligations as to how we view a trafficked person and what culpability we prescribed to them for their actions.'

Ahead of the beginning of her appeal on Monday morning, immigration minister Robert Jenrick said it was 'difficult' for him to comment on her case at this stage.

However, he said people should always have an 'open mind' about how to respond when teenagers make mistakes.

He told Sky News: 'It's difficult for me to comment, I'm afraid...

because we're waiting for the court's judgment later today.

'Once we hear that, then I'm happy to come on your programme and speak to you.

'I do think as a fundamental principle there will be cases, rare cases...

where people do things and make choices which undermine the UK interest to such an extent that it is right for the Home Secretary to have the power to remove their passport.'

Asked if there is ever room to reconsider where teenagers make mistakes, he said: 'Well, I think you should always have an open mind, but it depends on the scale of the mistake and the harm that that individual did or could have done to UK interests abroad.

'I don't want to comment too much on this case, if that's OK, because we'll find out later today what the court's decision was.'

Bomb rocks avenue in heart of Istanbul; 6 dead, dozens hurt

ISTANBUL (AP) - A bomb rocked a bustling pedestrian avenue in the heart of Istanbul on Sunday, killing six people, wounding several dozen and leaving panicked people to flee the fiery blast or huddle in cafes and istanbul Lawyer shops.

Emergency vehicles rushed to the scene on Istiklal Avenue, a popular thoroughfare lined with shops and restaurants that leads to the iconic Taksim Square.

In one video posted online, a loud bang could be heard and a flash seen as pedestrians turned and ran away.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called the blast a "treacherous attack" and said its perpetrators would be punished.

He did not say who was behind the attack but said it had the "smell of terror" without offering details and also adding that was not certain yet.

Sunday´s explosion was a shocking reminder of the anxiety and safety concerns that stalked the Turkish population during years when such attacks were common. The country was hit by a string of deadly bombings between 2015 and 2017, some by the Islamic State group, others by Kurdish militants who seek increased autonomy or independence.

In recent years, Erdogan has led a broad crackdown on the militants as well as on Kurdish lawmakers and activists.

Amid skyrocketing inflation and other economic troubles, Erdogan´s anti-terrorism campaign is a key rallying point for him ahead of presidential and parliamentary elections next year.

Shorter voting window could cut turnout in Georgia runoff

ATLANTA (AP) - Georgia Democrat Raphael Warnock's first runoff in 2021 was a titanic nine-week clash to control the Senate that included three weeks of early in-person voting and lots of mail ballots.

Warnock's victory against Republican Sen. Kelly Loeffler - and Democrat Jon Ossoff's tilt against Republican David Perdue - ended in two Democratic victories that gave the party control of a 50-50 Senate, thanks to Vice President Kamala Harris' ability to break ties.

But the Dec.

6 runoff won't be for Senate control this time with Democrats retaining seats in Arizona and Nevada earlier this month. Successful reelection bids by Sens. Mark Kelly and Catherine Cortez Masto were what Democrats needed to keep the slimmest of margins in the chamber.

Georgia requires a runoff if a candidate doesn´t win a majority in the party primary or in the general election. Neither Warnock nor Republican Herschel Walker got to 50%.

Under Georgia's 2021 election law, there will be only four weeks before the runoff - with Thanksgiving in the middle.

Here is more info about istanbul Lawyer check out the web-page. Many Georgians will be offered only five weekdays of early in-person voting beginning Nov. 28. And June's primary runoffs showed time for mail ballots to be received and returned can be very tight.

Pelosi holds open option of another term as House Dem leader

WASHINGTON (AP) - With control of the House still hanging in the balance, Speaker Nancy Pelosi stayed mum Sunday on her future plans but said congressional colleagues are urging her to seek another term as Democratic leader following a strong showing in the midterm elections.

Appearing in Sunday news shows, Pelosi said Democrats are "still alive" in their fight to win the chamber and that she will make a decision on whether to run for House leadership in the next couple weeks.

"People are campaigning and that´s a beautiful thing. And I´m not asking anyone for anything," she said, referring to House Democratic leadership elections set for Nov.

30. "My members are asking me to consider doing that. But, again, let´s just get through the (midterm) election."

"A great deal is at stake, because we will be in a presidential election," Pelosi said.

Over the weekend, Democrats clinched control of the Senate following Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto's victory in Nevada.

But in the House, a majority remains unsettled with neither party having yet reached the 218 seats needed to control the 435-member chamber. As of Sunday, Republicans had 212 seats compared to 204 for the Democrats, with 19 races still to be called by The Associated Press.

Investigation underway over midair crash at Dallas air show

DALLAS (AP) - A national transportation official probing the cause of a midair crash of two historic military planes during an air show that left six people dead said Sunday that one of the key questions for investigators is why the aircraft were seemingly sharing the same space just before impact.

A World War II-era bomber and a fighter plane collided and crashed to the ground in a ball of flames on Saturday, leaving crumpled wreckage in a grassy area inside the Dallas Executive Airport perimeter, about 10 miles (16 kilometers) from the city´s downtown. Several videos posted on social media showed the fighter plane flying into the bomber.

"One of the things we would probably most likely be trying to determine is why those aircraft were co-altitude in the same air space at the same time," Michael Graham, a member of the National Transportation Safety Board, said at a news conference.

The crash came three years after the crash of a bomber in Connecticut that killed seven, and amid ongoing concern about the safety of air shows involving older warplanes.

The company that owned the planes flying in the Wings Over Dallas show has had other crashes in its more than 60-year history.

The crash claimed six lives, Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins tweeted Sunday, citing the county medical examiner.

Authorities are continuing work to identify the victims, he said. Dallas Fire-Rescue said there were no reports of injuries on the ground.

EXPLAINER: What's happening at bankrupt crypto exchange FTX?

The imploding cryptocurrency trading firm FTX is now short billions of dollars after experiencing the crypto equivalent of a bank run.

The exchange, formerly one of the world's largest, sought bankruptcy protection last week, and its CEO and founder resigned.

Hours later, the trading firm said there had been "unauthorized access" and that funds had disappeared. Analysts say hundreds of millions of dollars may have vanished.

The unraveling of the once-giant exchange is sending shockwaves through the industry.

Here's a look at the company's collapse so far:

WHY DID FTX GO BANKRUPT?

Customers fled the exchange over fears about whether FTX had sufficient capital, and it agreed to sell itself to rival crypto exchange Binance.

But the deal fell through while Binance´s due diligence on FTX´s balance sheet was still pending.

Massive turnout in defense of Mexico's electoral authority

MEXICO CITY (AP) - Tens of thousands of people packed the Mexican capital´s main boulevard Sunday to protest President Andrés Manuel López Obrador´s proposal to overhaul the country´s electoral authority in the largest demonstration against one of the president´s efforts during his nearly four years in office.

The massive turnout was a strong rebuke of the president´s assertion that criticism comes only from a relatively small, elite opposition.

Opposition parties and civil society organizations had called on Mexicans to demonstrate in the capital and other cities against proposed electoral reforms that would remake the National Electoral Institute, one of the country´s most prized and trusted institutions.

López Obrador sees the institute as beholden to the elite, but critics say his reforms would threaten its independence and make it more political.

The initiative includes eliminating state-level electoral offices, cutting public financing of political parties and allowing the public to elect members of the electoral authority rather than the lower chamber of Congress.

It would also reduce the number of legislators in the lower chamber of Congress from 500 to 300 and senators from 128 to 96 by eliminating at-large lawmakers.

Those are not directly elected by voters, but appear on party lists and get seats based on their party´s proportion of the vote.

Musk's latest Twitter cuts: Outsourced content moderators

Twitter´s new owner Elon Musk is further gutting the teams that battle misinformation on the social media platform as outsourced moderators learned over the weekend they were out of a job.

Twitter and other big social media firms have relied heavily on contractors to track hate and enforce rules against harmful content.

But many of those content watchdogs have now headed out the door, first when Twitter fired much of its full-time workforce by email on Nov.

4 and now as it moves to eliminate an untold number of contract jobs.

Melissa Ingle, who worked at Twitter as a contractor for more than a year, was one of a number of contractors who said they were terminated Saturday. She said she´s concerned that there´s going to be an increase in abuse on Twitter with the number of workers leaving.

"I love the platform and I really enjoyed working at the company and trying to make it better. And I´m just really fearful of what´s going to slip through the cracks," she said Sunday.

'Here comes the bride': White House to host its 19th wedding

WASHINGTON (AP) - "Here Comes the Bride" will be heard at the White House very soon. Again.

Naomi Biden, the granddaughter of President Joe Biden, and Peter Neal are getting married on the South Lawn on Saturday in what will be the 19th wedding in White House history.

It will be the first wedding with a president's granddaughter as the bride, and the first one in that location, according to the White House Historical Association.

A mutual friend set up Naomi Biden, 28, and Neal, 25, about four years ago in New York City and the White House said they have been together ever since.

Naomi Biden is a lawyer; her father is Hunter Biden. Neal recently graduated from the University of Pennsylvania law school. The couple lives in Washington.

Nine of the 18 documented White House weddings were for a president´s daughter - most recently Richard Nixon´s daughter, Tricia, in 1971, and Lyndon B.

Sam Bankman-Fried's downfall sends shockwaves through crypto

NEW YORK (AP) - Sam Bankman-Fried received numerous plaudits as he rapidly achieved superstar status as the head of cryptocurrency exchange FTX: the savior of crypto, the newest force in Democratic politics and potentially the world´s first trillionaire.

Now the comments about the 30-year-old Bankman-Fried aren´t so kind after FTX filed for bankruptcy protection Friday, leaving his investors and customers feeling duped and many others in the crypto world fearing the repercussions.

Bankman-Fried himself could face civil or criminal charges.

"Sam what have you done?," tweeted Sean Ryan Evans, host of the cryptocurrency podcast Bankless, after the bankruptcy filing.

Under Bankman-Fried, FTX quickly grew to be the third-largest exchange by volume.

The stunning collapse of this nascent empire has sent tsunami-like waves through the cryptocurrency industry, which has seen a fair share of volatility and turmoil this year, including a sharp decline in price for bitcoin and other digital assets. For some, the events are reminiscent of the domino-like failures of Wall Street firms during the 2008 financial crisis, particularly now that supposedly healthy firms like FTX are failing.

One venture capital fund wrote down investments in FTX worth over $200 million. The cryptocurrency lender BlockFi paused client withdrawals Friday after FTX sought bankruptcy protection. The Singapore-based exchange Crypto.com saw withdrawals increase this weekend for internal reasons but some of the action could be attributed to raw nerves from FTX.

ANKARA, Dec 24 (Reuters) - A Turkish court ordered the release of a journalist held on remand under the country's new disinformation law after his Turkey istanbul Lawyer objected to his detention, he said.

Sinan Aygul became the first person to be jailed pending trial under the law, approved by parliament two months ago, Law Firm Turkey istanbul that the government says is aimed at protecting the public, but which critics say could be abused to stifle dissent.

Aygul, a journalist in the Kurdish-majority Bitlis province, wrote on Twitter last week that a 14-year-old girl had allegedly been sexually abused, including by police and soldiers.

He retracted the posts and apologised for writing them without confirming the story with authorities but was later arrested.

Aygul said in a video posted to Twitter late on Friday that he was released after his Turkey istanbul Lawyer Law Firm filed an objection to the detention order.

"I am free again after 10 days of captivity," he said in the video.

The first laser was invented around 1900 as possibly a deadly device. Theodore Maiman, in 1905 stated the power of the beam as a Gillette razor blade. There is however no evidence that it can burn someone. Low-power lasers can still cause damage to the eyesight. They may cause damage to the retina through reflection on shiny surfaces. The light may cause minor or even localized burns.

The most well-known kind of laser makes use of feedback from the optical cavity to produce the beam of light. The optical cavity is made by a pair of mirrors on either end of the gain medium. When light hits this gain medium it bounces off the mirrors and buy laser pointers gets amplified. The process continues until all the light is passed through the output coupler which is semi-transparent mirror. The beam can be utilized in hundreds of different applications when it is made.

The brightness of a laser beam isn't the only thing that is important. The size of the beam is measured on the point where it exits the housing. This measurement can be described in various ways. For Gaussian beams, the width is typically measured as 1/e2 (or 0.135) times the highest intensity value. That means that a laser with a larger diameter will produce a narrower, less concentrated beam than one with an diffraction limit that is smaller.

The beam of a laser has an area that is measured at the exit face of the housing. This can be measured in a variety of ways. For example an example, an Gaussian beam is 1 /e2 (or 0.135) times the maximum intensity. However, the definitions for the Gaussian beam are different, so it's best to consult an expert in these areas before buying the laser. In most cases the maximum beam size will be smaller than the Diffraction Limit.

The diameter of beams of laser is the measurement of the beam's width at the point of exit from the housing of the laser. The Gaussian-shaped laser beam is defined as the distance between the two points in the marginal distributions of their intensities. A shorter wavelength will have a greater diameter. The same is true for a Gaussian-shaped beam with a small-diffraction-limited intensity.

A flashlight's beam is spread through a lens to form a fuzzy cone. Laser beams are a lot narrower and more precise than beams from flashlights. It's referred to as highly collimated because it is narrower and longer-range than the beam of a flashlight. The range of the beam is just a few inches, and its focus is typically near to the object at. It is also used to detect and track missiles.

The beam's diameter is the measurement of a laser beam measured from the point of exit of the housing housing. Its diameter is usually defined in various ways. It is possible to define a Gaussian light, as an example has a diameter of 1/e2. This is equivalent to 0.135x the maximum intensity. A wide-diameter can be useful in analysing a specific application. It is possible to measure intensity of the beam as well as the laser's width as well as the beam wide.

A buy laser pointers beam's power is determined by the frequency at which it travels. It is usually sufficient to be visible however there are some limitations. It is difficult to correlate the wavelength of light to other sources. High-powered lasers can create bright spots. This is due to the fact that the light can be altered due to the diffusion of an object. It's more difficult to identify the target if the beam is weaker.

The laser beam's diameter is the length of the laser's wavelength which is determined in a few different ways. The length of the Gaussian beam is the distance between two points in the marginal distribution, with their intensities being 1/e2 or the maximum intensity value of the spectrum. This measurement is typically used to determine the length of the laser. A diameter that is too large can cause danger to the object or person and can lead to death.

Lasers are intense lights that can be used to cut and shape objects. The light is released in a single-wavelength which is the reason the beam is so narrow. The laser's wavelength is what makes the beam so clear and how it can be utilized in many different ways. The length of the laser's wavelength is its length. The frequency of a laser is the length of one wave.

Are you going to struggle with energy bills this winter?

Britons could die this winter due to surging energy prices, warned today after Ofgem confirmed an 80 per cent rise in the price cap - sending the average household's yearly bill from £1,971 to £3,549 from October.

The cap announcement today will come into effect for around 24million households in England, Scotland and Wales on default energy tariffs on October 1, and will remain in place until December 31, when it will be adjusted again.

The 4.5million pre-payment meter customers across Britain, who are often the most vulnerable and already in fuel poverty, will see an even more punishing increase - with their average annual bill set to go up to £3,608.

And things could get even worse next year, with experts at consultancy Auxilione using latest gas prices to predict that the cap will rise by another 52 per cent to £5,405 in January 2023, kombi servisi then by a further 34 per cent to £7,263 in April - before falling slightly, by 11 per cent to £6,485 in July and by another 7 per cent to £6,006 in October.

MoneySavingExpert founder Mr Lewis, who became emotional at times while giving passionate interviews to TV and radio shows this morning, told BBC Radio 4's Today programme: 'I've been accused of catastrophising over this situation. Well, the reason I have catastrophised is this is a catastrophe, plain and simple.

If we do not get further government intervention on top of what was announced in May, lives will be lost this winter.'

The consumer champion also said the latest rise in the cap means some people will pay up to £10,000 a year in bills.

And he warned that there is no cap on the maximum you pay - but the cap is actually a maximum cost per unit that firms can charge for gas and electricity. Currently, this equates to £1,971 a year for the average home.

Ofgem said that from October 1 the equivalent per unit level of the price cap to the nearest pence for a typical customer paying by direct debit will be 52p per kWh for electricity customers and a standing charge of 46p per day.

The equivalent per unit level for a typical gas customer is 15p per kWh with a standing charge of 28p per day.

As business groups and think tanks offered stark warnings over the crisis throughout the course of today:

  • Chancellor Nadhim Zahawi admitted the rise would cause 'stress' and people could need to ration energy;
  • Campaigners said the number of UK households in fuel poverty will have doubled in a year by this October;
  • Prime Minister Boris Johnson insisted 'extra cash' will be announced next month to support households; and
  • Sir Keir Starmer said it is 'absolutely unforgivable' that the Government is 'missing in action' amid the crisis.

MoneySavingExpert founder Mr Lewis, who became emotional at times while giving passionate interviews to TV and radio shows this morning, told BBC Radio 4's Today programme: 'I've been accused of catastrophising over this situation. Should you loved this post and you wish to receive details regarding kombi Servisi i implore you to visit our own web-page. Well, the reason I have catastrophised is this is a catastrophe, plain and simple.'

The consumer champion said the latest rise in the cap means some people will pay up to £10,000 a year in bills

Ofgem's chief executive Jonathan Brearley warned of the hardship energy prices will cause this winter and kombi Servisi urged the incoming prime minister and new Cabinet 'to provide an additional and urgent response to continued surging energy prices'.

He also said that the gas price this winter was 15 times more than the cost two years ago.

The regulator said the increase reflected the continued rise in global wholesale gas prices, which began to surge as the pandemic eased, Kombi Servisi and had been driven still higher by Russia slowly switching off gas supplies to Europe.

Ofgem also warned that energy prices could get 'significantly worse' next year.

The regulator said that some suppliers might start increasing the amount that direct debit customers pay before October 1, to spread out payments, but any money taken by suppliers will only ever be spent on supplying energy to households.

Philippe Commaret, the managing director of energy giant EDF, has warned that half of UK households could be in fuel poverty in January as a result of rocketing prices.

And the Trades Union Congress has said energy bills will rise 35 times faster than wages and 57 times faster than benefits in the last three months of this year.

Which? has urged the Government to raise its energy bills discount by at least 150 per cent or risk pushing millions of people into financial distress.

The consumer watchdog said Ministers' financial support for all households must increase from the current £400 to £1,000 - or from £67 to £167 per month from October to March.

However, no immediate extra help will be announced by Boris Johnson's Government, with major financial decisions being postponed until either Liz Truss or Rishi Sunak is in No 10 after the Tory leadership contest.

Miss Truss pledged 'immediate support' to help with soaring bills if she becomes prime minister, saying she would use an emergency budget next month to 'ensure support is on its way to get through these tough times'.  Miss Truss and her rival Mr Sunak have also both pledged to continue a £15billion support package unveiled in June.

Chancellor Nadhim Zahawi said the increase in the cap would cause 'stress and anxiety' for people but that the Government was working to develop more options to support households.

He also blamed Russian president Vladimir Putin for 'driving up energy prices in revenge for our support of Ukraine's brave struggle for freedom'.

He also suggested people could need to ration energy, saying: 'The reality is that we should all look at our energy consumption. It is a difficult time.

There is war on our continent. Very few people anticipated war. Wars happen in far-flung places. It is now here with us. We have to remain resilient. My responsibility is to deliver that help.'

The charity National Energy Action said the number of UK households in fuel poverty will have doubled in a year when the October cap rise takes effect.

It calculates that 8.9million homes will be in fuel poverty from October - up from 4.5 million last October - and also takes into account the Government's support package revealed in May.

The Ofgem price cap will rise from £1,971 now to £3,549 from October 2022, kombi servisi it confirmed today.

And experts at energy consultancy Auxilione now think the cap will rise by another 52 per cent to £5,405 in January 2023, then by a further 34 per cent to £7,263 in April - before falling slightly, by 11 per cent to £6,485 in July and by another 7 per cent to £6,006 in October.

Mr Lewis has said the rise in the price cap means some people will pay up to £10,000 a year in bills.

He told ITV's Good Morning Britain the situation is a 'genuine social and financial catastrophe that is putting lives at risk'.

He went on: 'I'm noticing many media organisations saying that the price cap is £3,549 a year - that isn't correct. The price cap is actually a cap on the standing charges and unit rates that you pay, they have gone up by around 80 per cent.
